King Aronas ruled by greed and cruelty, often harming his people to gain more riches. When he was finally slayed, the sorcerers cursed him by binding his spirit to his gold-filled skull so that he may look upon his fortune, but be no more than an ornament upon the walls of his lavish throne room.
